Reiki

Meaning universal life energy, Reiki helps to bring energy back into balance and has become a popular choice of treatment due to it being relaxing and recharging.

When our energy is low, it can be harder to cope with daily routines or stress and our physical health can become affected. This can affect our sleep, leading to exhaustion, as well as affecting our ability to make decisions or moves that may be needed for positive changes in our life. By bringing our energy back into alignment, we can start to feel like ourselves again.

Reiki can also be used alongside other treatments and can be supportive during times of chronic illness, helping you to feel more relaxed and emotionally stronger.

“Reiki is holistic, it works on the body, mind and spirit by stimulating our own natural healing abilities.”

Reiki Treatments
A Reiki session lasts about an hour during which you lie down fully clothed and relax while I gently place my hands in a sequence of non-invasive positions over your head and body.

Reiki shifts and balances your energy, sending healing to where it’s most needed. Experiences are different for everyone – some have experienced sensations of warmth or tingling and others have described it like the sensation of sinking into a warm bubble-bath.

As with shamanic healing, there is no belief system attached to Reiki and you don't need to believe in it for it to work - you just need to be open-minded and want to be well.

*Please be aware that Reiki is not advised for people with epilepsy
